OK took a good drive in our area here is what I see.
    1. Its dryer up north at lake than it is at the farm.
    2. Major melt is on in our area now.
    3. Sloughs are larger than any one can remember. Some fields literally have hundreds of them.
    4. Washed out roads and even a cement bridge built in 1961.
    5. Problem when Mechanical tractor cant make it across field.
Every one at Easter dinner was seeing the same thing in our area. So just wondering what other areas have. We will now not get much done till second week of may. If it rains were pooched. One Main grid left open rest are either washed out or cut open or flooded. So getting anhydrous to fields could be a big problem along with seed etc.

About the same here. Hell of a mess.
Still some snow left on fields, lots in fence lines. 30-50% of fields under water.
Any rain and all hope is lost.
Roads washed out culverts washed, yards nearly flooded.
Milligan Creek south of Wadena is an ocean near topping #35.
Hate to see the Quill Lakes, all the water running that way!

I went fer A nice tour today as well. Had to search, search, & search some more fer these supposed flood waters, finally found em'. Looks like 20,000 acres at best flooded out, BIG DEAL. Stopped & had a Blue wit one of the Flood Patrol guys at Letellier, said the water is goin down already, could see it myself wit the marks on the trees. If'n the weather fer the rest of the week gon be like tommorrow, every man and they Dog gon be goin to beat the band next weekend. Looks like more rain comin though. Fer the life of me kin not figure out why the Useless NDP Government here insists on replacing bridges wit Big Culverts. I think they purposely let the ice take out all the bridges this year, everywhere you look bridges out. Say a bridge costs $400,000 to replace, bullsh!t it does. This will be the FINAL straw fer us Manitobans if'n this BiPole III comes through, gon be he!! to pay, that I kin guarantee!!!!!

Well looking out of our yard in south Regina all I see is water. So going in this area doesn't seem likely for few weeks. Its clay, yea.

Furrow then you are in God's county.
If it seems dry sometime wish you could see our living hell, you would thank the Lord for DRY.
I will forever be thankful for dry dusty days should I bother to farm.

I drove Edmonton to winnipeg and back Friday to Sunday AM. All along the way low areas are wet but there are a lot of higher areas that look like they could be seeded in a week or so. North of Edmonton though still half covered in snow on Sunday good melt today but will be at least 2 weeks maybe longer until we could start

For the last 12 months we have been fortunate, dodged alot of bullets. Sooner or later our luck will run out. But for now we are thankin the Lord. Could be a wolf in sheeps clothing - seed everything, spend a pile, only to have it freeze in Aug like 2004. I know several guys out east, dissapointed and frusterated last year - this year just dissmal.

Picked up an enclosed trailer near Winnipeg, trailers are a lot cheaper there then in Alberta
