If your ipad is 3g equipped, then without a doubt go that way. You can just go monthly , unlimited is 35 plus 25 activation. Can cancel any time.

you can use your BB with a playbook but
the internet with the bridge is very
slow for surfing. email works just like
the phone though. i was told that the
        bluetooth connection limits browsing
        speed? for a brand new device/software i
am happy and it should only get better.

U should either get involved in the operation at hand or else hire somebody else to perform that function while U are on the internet. If not I think I smell stuck!! HT

I use a 3g ipad now. Had used black berry with tethering to notebook but bulky and had to wire. Ipad just turn on when using then off. Only problem with ipad is it wont allow you to view Richie auctions etc. That is ps off. Their is the mifi which i am going to add in June for the lake it has a range of 30 ft from source and is similar to BB but don't have to attach wire.
Good one BTO what tractor you have and drill. FUNNY.

Saskfarmer, have you put the Ipad in a tough case and did you rig up a mount in the tractor? Thanks for sharing this, I am getting alot of questions about these new tablets and trying to spend some time see what might work best in farm conditions....

I have had an ipad for a year and like it...The ipad OS does not play Flash so that is likely why you are having trouble with the Ritchie auctions.

We are experimenting with a Xoom tablet with Android OS to see how it performs in the field this spring.

I like the idea of connecting the Playbook with the BB but have not had the chance to get one to check out performance yet.

This mobile technology is changing almost daily and the tablets are becoming a real mobile options for everyone. Let me know what you guys think and I will try to share what we have experienced.

                      Have a safe spring,
