Wouldn't miss it for anything. I did some mma after my farm politics stint. Much more satisfying. Go GSP!

Pars, for a while I didn't know what the frig you
were referring to? Then I got a pop-up for pay per
view. And here I thought it was some Political
commentator. Yikes - you watch that crap! I prefer
sports with some level of skill and finesse. Oh well,
whatever gets you off. BUT, it sure gave me a novel
thought: maybe instead of everyone voting Monday,
maybe we should just lock the 4 of them in a cage
and last man standing is PM. I give the edge to Jack
if he is allowed to bring his cane along. BTW, the
cane is just a prop now, obvious he doesn't need it.
And I wish people would back off the smear
campaign on poor Jack. Don't be so HARD ON him,
he was just BONING UP on his political future.
Besides, he has been very successful at
eJACKulating his party's vision for Canada. PS,
anyone interested in Monday's outcome, contact
your local candidate. They do internal polling which
is much more accurate than the public polls.

Pars, just kidding with you, enjoy, and hope you get to
see it live some time. You're right - these guys are fit,
apparently without steroids! But where do you go from
here - gladiators - a struggle to death - Rollerball? I
feel UFC says something very troubling about where
our society is heading, that' all.

Pars, I never won a match in bed. Always
outclassed. Always tap out.
I am older than Couture. He is my hero but I
have to cheer for Machida as he is a karate guy.

Pars, you've never played a game of chess against me,
a lesson or two on male dominance could be learned
there too! And hey, like Charlie P, I'm a biker,
complete with colours! When we ride through a small
town, the locals line the streets with their chins
between their knees. (but we're good guys, raise
money for sick kids, etc.)

bh, do you have an mma club in Manitoba near you? They are such good clubs for young boys, too, I would think? Boys need to be encouraged to wrestle, and box, and fight as opposed to trying to squelch their instincts. I'm a Randy fan, too. Betcha he has some original shares in UFC. Pars

Rocky, I have a Rhino to drive off every cliff I can find, full throttle, when I'm feeling rebellious; and a bicycle for the rest of the days for firming up the thighs. Was a fast short distance runner. And I prefer duplicate bridge to chess, although my fav is a game called red Whiskers...two players, and five cards each and deadly. With both brain pizzaz as well as bravado and bullshit.

Pars, a Rhino is a good choice. Btw, girls aren't that
good at chess, something about which side of the
brain is dominant. Interesting, I used to run marathons
until I tore my ACL. But, I don't have a need to huff,
snort and kick up dust up to feel empowered, hope
your weather improves!

Hey Pars, we have Synthesis Martial Arts in
Boissevain. The sensei is a world class fighter.
Synthesis teaches Wado Kai Karate and Judo
with guests bringing in BJJ from time to time. I
haven t been in a while. Spending my time
helping my wife fight cancer and awaiting
shoulder surgery for myself.
But you are right about kids and the martial arts.
I have great character development in many of
the young people.
