Window Coming Better be Ready to go!

Drews out this morning with a update to his group of clients.
Looks like every one better be in full bore seeding from the 12 to 18. Then who knows.
Cool then warm then rain repeat.
Environment Canada says a hot dry summer. Oh well maybe David Philips finally got one right. HAHAHAHAH
We tried yesterday and found its just to wet. really wet. One guy seeded a quarter at Edgeley and Quarter at Lipton on Sand, and Few at top of valley north of Indian head. Not even a stubble fire this spring.
Looks like Monday for start time. Last time we started on mothers day sunk a 9400 too the front lights. Took all day and into the night to get her out.
    What are others finding.

Looks dry but if you slip just a little too much, you are sunk.

Couldn't pick rocks without making a plan to get through low spots.

Environment Canada says below normal temps above normal precip May to July.

Farmzone guessing up to 1.4" for Kelvington till Tuesday. Way too wet now!
            Drill still in some snow.
            That ought to kill us.

Better after 11th, but will need till 18th to dry up.

Morning, fields here are soaked to, tricky trying to go across them with quad, water running hard yet. June 1 maybe with no rain for us.

Went beaver hunting last night. Got two
for 70 bucks! To get there though, I had
to walk as the road north of us is full
of 4-5 foot drifts still. Old snow, BTW.
tough slogging through this crap! We got
a half inch Plus of rain yesterday. If
it had not rained, I was thinking 10
days. Now, add five more I think. It all
depends on what happens with warmth.
Those warm windy couple of days, were
actually drying the surface quite a bit,
but water was still running pond to pond
                through the fields, and such.

It was looking encouraging, but now the
concern is reappearing, with a forecast
of a soggy weekend coming up.

One area of one field was getting close
to not sinking up to my ankles in, but I
see yesterday, with the rain, and a
delayed run-off from the drifts in the
bush and such, water is streaming across
again and making a large pond.

I did get the seeder out of the mud hole
on tuesday. Good times! For anti-
                depressants maybe; lol.

Sounds like us dragged the air drill out of the snow and mud, spinning tractor, rutting up the yard.
Whole yard is a sponge, water seeping everywhere.
Park the tandem empty and it's sinking into the road.
Both quonsets are a mud hole inside.
1/2" Rain and hail 2 miles east.
                        Looks like two weeks ago.
                        Absolutely hopeless, at this moment.
Yes, depressed like never in my career.

Neighbors started seeding peas today, good conditions on higher and lighter land. A remarkable turnaround considering we still had almost complete winter snow cover on April 15th. Dust flying in my corrals, getting a shower now to dampen it down. West central AB.

West side of Lake Diefenbaker--- will finish putting fertilizer on pivots today and then start seeding canola. Real good moisture but no problems with the wet spots. Some spots too wet to seed last spring you go right through this year.
