    Shit

Tested the new V ditch closer on the cult. expecting to maybe plant monday if don't rain. crapping fields way wetter cannot run a cult over. Now looking for another big tractor with serious rubber to pull a heavy harrow that I don;t have yet either. Anyways ripped and twisted the closer so will remove it from cult tomorrow piece of crap, thought it was a good idea at the time. I don't think I am alone in this.

I'd have to stay in the basement with the shades drawn not to see the water.

Have to watch the sewer pump anyway. If it or the power quits basement floods.

And now he starts kissing ass. Take the defeat and your sickening director's salary and go back to the farm allen. Go **** nettie for awhile.

It's amazing how the 8 staunch single desk cwb directors wish to use democracy. I would like anyone of the 8, or any board supporter for that matter, explain to me where the barley grower democracy is.

Democracy is one man one vote. Corporate democracy is one share, one vote. The CWB board never got this, never defined a voters list that reflected a list of production farmers.

If Oberg is so engaged in the democratic process as true reflection of the farmers will, he would have supported a corporate model (votes basis tonnes) for ballots, and worked as a director to establish a process which reflected the will of the production majority. Now he may in his tenure have to run the corporation as a business model, which will prove a challenge to him and Stew! They may have to actually engage the corp in proving their value.

And, even if you believed in the one producer one vote theory the voters list was a questionable representation of farmers as a whole at any rate.

Reality is, despite Obergs claims of farmer representation, the CWB voters list never truly reflected democratic will of the production farmers engaged in the business of farming, and the directors never saw their mandate to address this shortcoming.

                        Pity.

Just got back from 'Toon this morning.

Guy near Foam Lake, well east of there sank an STX with a cultivator... little backhoe to try and dig it out along Hwy 16...

Closer to home, fields are 100% saturated - they are shiny with the sun hitting them. Water puddles everywhere. Dirt = soup.

On top of that, Drew Learner predicting up to 50mm of rain early next week.

So wonder if the make it on your own boys are gonna be saying something or are they gonna put the tail between the legs and buy some rope?

What is the response from the right wingers? should there be additional assistance? Will there be? Americans someone said getting 200 bucks an acre to not seed! What is everyone's opinion?

Maybe agriculture should have been more on the agenda but the hillbillies were so happy to not have a registered gun didn't care about anything else.
What day will the cwb be gone?

Found a 70 foot morris harrow at Farm World Humboldt. Can pull it with the the 535 for at least a couple days then may need it back to the drill so to make it run. How much to spend to put this crop in the ground, I am hoping to rent a tractor for the harrow, makes more sense than buying one actually.
