I don't like labels, but if you must then, Silverback and riders2010 missed my group, the voter apathy one.

I think this 38.6% group is telling Canada that no one needs to be in charge of ruling Canada. We seem to be able to get along very well for 37 days without falling to pieces. I'd be willing to see what the maximum limit could be pushed towards.

Last year the guys that thaught they have to seed in the mud just to get something in lost money, by the time they paid thier repair bills, imputs, insurance, fuel, wages etc.and got a poor crop anyway were in the hole. The guys that didnt seed got the insurance money and goverment payment and possibly some ag stability coming.Baught glyfosate to keep the weeds down and didnt wreck their equipment will at least break even. This sucks but its reality.

Drew Lerner suggests that the sun's cool wet cycle goes to 2018.

If that's right it's only going to get worse. Sorry, I'm not waiting for that.

In my 40 years farming, only three too dry years here, 37 great to too wet.

But these two take the cake, wettest in a hundred years.

Giver heck then, you know good to hear someone going, i'm just imagining it the fresh smell of worked ground (dry), quietness of early morning as the sun comes up, and the kids bringing out lunch. Ahhhh, well then there is reality of the mud. It was even good for the minute it took to write this though. Good luck!

Thanks, and keep your head up, I could not imagine being in your shoes our anyone else out east. The way the weather is, our luck may/will change on a dime, looks like we got till the 18-19th to get er done then the jet stram is headed our way. At this point all we are fighting is a few wet spots and putin in hours while we can. Got one drill stuck today, the old boy on the phone. He always beaks us about being on the phone too much, I just smiled and said it could have been worse.
