Aerial Seeding Canola

Has anyone gotten it in writing? Does aerial
applied canola/mustard qualify for crop
insurance?

I phoned about using a heavy harrow c/w valmar and they said I would be on my own if it didn't establish.

I second that it has to establish to be
covered.

I was at the crop ins office today and they said they would as long as its done before the deadlines and it establishes. I have done aerial seeding in the past and it works well when there is lots of moisture,you should harrow it after its broadcasted just to get a little dirt over the seed and you will be fine. the problem is fertilizer if its not pre banded then you have to top dress.
