Good luck to those of you in the west that are
getting a crop in.... You'll be making a tidy profit if
      the weather holds!

As far as out here.... yeah, I don't think we're even
going to have a crop.... It's going to take 3 weeks to
dry out, and there's no way we're getting 3 weeks of
no rain.... I just can't see it.

The entire region is pretty much at 0% seeded. 1
field in a 75 mile radius and that's it.

We got to 5% done yesterday. Not fun at all roads are falling apart and its like last fall in the fields you have a spare four wheel drive sitting watching the Air drill. Its quicker than unhooking and hooking up the second rig. Anhydrous truck stays on Grid and runs hose through the ditch.
On land that should be dryer since it slopes to the valley. HAHHAHAHA. Talked to neighbor with a few more acres than me and he feels across the valley is dryer but big deal only 1/3 of his acres are their then its back to swamp. Even sand to the West of us is not seed able.
So reality for our area most will seed their best drained then all will come to a sudden stop as dry fields run out. One other neighbor to south will be in that situation in a few days.
Another neighbor is driving empty with his drill 1 1/2 miles back to road for seed and fert. He has a Little tank. So if the big rain event happens today well lets just say the 10,000,000. acres not seeded last year will be a dream to get in this year.
