    [PICS] Aftermath

    Well... A few anyway.

This is my home quarter. I'll go out and get more later of the rest of our land... this is what we consider high ground. I don't want to know what the stuff along the Creek looks like.

Not sure if your soil has much capacity to absorb any of that I know ours would not, are you allowed to v'ditch around there? That could help get things moving as long as nieghbours are for it. could be an emergency situation

If like here, it either runs off or evaporates.
      Groundwater is at the surface.
Sloughs must be seeping in from higher water.
2/10" and water lays on surface for days.

No point to ditching.... water table is at surface, and this will run off anyway... once the drainage ditches catch up.

Lake Dauphin, which is what all this water runs into, has a flood warning. We're only 18 miles away.

        More pics.

Not uncommon to have moisture like that but amount the soil can absorb is important this year. Wonder if Sask.3 can come up with some pics now, somehow I think he is out planting.

Yeah, you won't have to seed too deep to hit moisture. Man, you need a week of really nice weather. I have shiny spots now and the odd bit of water standing. Next week after I sandbag my house due to controlled release. I wonder how much I can drink between now and then?

No AT a funeral yesterday and had 3/4 of inch on Tuesday. No planting will get pictures once I figure it out again how to post them. Slow learner that way.
On Tuesday morning I had the 9630 stuck on one side of the grid 15 minuets after I got their and looked over and 9520 was sunk on north side so pull 4x4 had to come and get them out. Then it poured.
