      I would never, ever, ever, even think about going back on my word. My Name means everything to me. Must be nice to back outta that rent. I payin $120 an acre Cash Rent on some acres. All the Better fer me if'n you free loader's don't wanna pay up, more fer me to farm. Tell you's one thing, I would pay yous with a Reality Cheque if'n I were the Landlord, rentitall to ME!!!!!!!

        Have to agree with burbert and bto, rent due is due. And in Alberta I think if you have not worked the land or applied fert the unseeded acreage is 25 bucks. Not sure if you still owe a premium to be deducted as well.

          i suppose your crop insurance changes the equation a bit.
          but then if this is a disaster, will the rents all get paid? will there be cash to pay?

            If there is no cash to pay expect somebody
            else to be farming it next year. Sucks
            but thats probably whats going to happen.
            At least we have Agri-vation to help us

              i lost 200 acres this spring, the old guy died, and daughter said she was going to farm it. since found out she had let to a neighbour at more rent.liar.
              she didnt like it when i deducted the cost of lime spread recently. luckily i found out before i paid the rent. it was a shit hole anyway, but i was gradually bringing it up to par.
