sometimes helping someone out can be for your
own self interest in the long term.If I wanted to
live like that and have no personal wealth and
have one or two people think for me I would join

work well having someone think for you.

I don't come from a colony but I do live right next door to one and they have proven to be the best of neighbors, best of custom operators and honest and fair people to deal with in business. The Assiniboine River could not possibly handle ten more feet of water. The water is already within a foot or so of the top of the dykes at St. Eustache as it is.

As for Starlite's dike, it's made mostly of clay. They might have topped it off with limestone, but it certainly isn't "pure" limestone.

I fully support you on this one grassfarmer. This is not 1980 and often the largest farms in a area are NOT colonies. Their arrangement is part of their culture. Would be like suggesting, going forward, we do not allow catholic's to expand because they are able to repent their sins. Same crap.
