Where it has rained, keeps raining in the same track! 2010 repeat. They agree.

I call bullshit on this one. If it happens there will be a lot of unseeded area south of Swift Current all the way to climax.

You can call BS, Jdgreen. It's already on the radar.

last night before going to bed I checked the
accuweather radar... and saw what I didn't want to
see.... The storm center moved east a couple miles
and found us. Envirocan changed the forcast at 5 AM...
we're going to get the full brunt of this rain storm.
              70mm by wends.

              Our season's over. :'(

I feel for you guys, but on the back side of that bastered it has drawn cold air down from the north and frooze us again this a.m. Not as bad as last tues or yesterday but everything is now damaged and stunted. Wht, peas and canola is heavily damaged. crop ins is going to be buisy.

We seeded into dry ground a couple of times in
the 80's. Seeds did not germinate until late, late
June or July. Crop came through great those
years so it's not so late. The seeds will start to
germinate this year before they hit the ground.
If only we can get them in the ground.

Peas seem O.K. so far but getting stunted. Wheat has lost leaves and has almost become dormant.

Southern Manitoba oats is already rotting in the ground that has been in for 2 weeks. Guys are calling crop insurance. I was draining water off my wheat that had not come up yet. I think there is already significant yield damage. I am starting to think that any yield of anything will be good except light oats.
