Whatever you buy see if you can put 20.8 38's on and see if you can run the back wheels wider than the front.
#1 tires are 1/3 the price of wide metrics and avail anywhere
#2 off setting the wheels gives more floatation and also reduces dust by half in dry conditions.
We run a 3230 set up this way.

3230 is a patriot right?Because you can set those bolts underneath so the axels will move out as far as the bolts are set.We have metrics which made a big difference in reducing ruts but probably would'nt be worth the extra $ if you are in a dryer area.

we have a 1010 apache. i have 28.5 34 on the back.. it goes through pretty much everything. I have been pretty happy with it over the past three seasons, wide tires are a must in wet conditions.

I missed an old patriot in Sask to a Swiss farmer with no money by one day, and then another nice oler patriot with 90' booms and a trailer by 4 hours. So, I gave up. But, it these forums are worth anything, someone on here will know where there is an older patriot 90' in nice shape for high 30's or low 40's and I will buy it.

Marshall-sold a 98 WT 180 HP 75 foot for $57000 this spring with wide tires (38s). I think you might want to look at the 180 hp instead of the 150. I really think it was a great sprayer.

Hi wakopa. We're not really advertising for it but we would help out a neighbour. After last night's rain I hope you don't want it soon. We're putting some 20.8 x 42 tires on the back to help flotation. Til those are on we can't even go on our own.

I am a little late to this post, I have the ih 3320, 650 metrics turned out to be a good decision when purchasing new, only 3000 dollar option. The auto boom on off is also nice over 6 sections of boom so no biggy when starting that first straight row on the crooked line. Also nice everywhere else. Have the aim command which is working ok but do put a few solenoid parts in in spring cause of frost damage. Parts not expensive. Oh just an added note, you know those sonars that you can replace for 900 if mount broken cause hit power pole etc, just buy the plastic piece for something like 15, local dealer just started stalking them this sping cause I asked about just buying the plastic piece. And JHC don't buy a high clearance pull type unless you don't mind taking years off your life from driver stress.

                          Why is it stressful?
Seems to be a lot of them for sale.
