Its your opinion nobody can predict the markets.

Its your opinion that the board can market your
    grain better than yourself.

You are entitled to your opinions

    And i'm entitled to mine.

The problem is the agstars, vaders, and stubblejumpers of the world don't consider your opinion to have even one cent of value.

There is some unknown benefit that is derived by some, that makes them loyal to the end on that sinking ship.

All anyone can be sure of is that markets will go up and down ,timing is everything. I prefer not to play the timing game. If you wish to hedge , grain exchanges and etf's exist where you can play the game for a price.

Or you can sell when or how much you want when sales fit your budget needs or when profitability is relevent - no different than all off board grains/oilseeds for the past 40 yrs. It is not a big scary world for most of us.

My guess is the coffee shop because agstar and the rest of the board supporters want the same price as the guy beside him drinking coffee instead of looking at what going on in the rest of the world.

The lord gave the man a brain, its beyond me why he can't use it.

AgStar. what is stopping you from selling 2% of your board grains every week. Why does that take 400 people to do this?
Ask a CWB supporter this scenario. Pick one. In a open market you get $6 a bus but your neighbour get $6.50. Or under a monopoly everyone gets $5.50. A CWB supporter will take $5,50 all day because everyone gets the same. "Will take less so his neighbour doesnt get more" This last statement is the CWB moto.

Agstar, it's communism you desire. Better get
going because we are running out of countries to
                    find it.

With the new CWB, you will likely have the price
pooling you want, but you won't be able to shove
                    it down my throat.

I have grown and marketed lentils, peas and
canary seed since 1979, without communism and
I like it a lot. Now I will actually grow wheat
without making myself nauseous. We have not
had a permit book since 1986 and lots of farmers
around here are the same because we don't
want anything to do with communism.
