Oh yea here is comment on WHeat growing conditions world wide. CWB did you listen or did you give away grain again at lowest price is the law rates.

Those 20000 bus were long since sold under the U.S. system, that's why the price is where it is. There will be more volatility, a few will gain some will lose.

AGSTAR I would hold back grain in USA as I would in Canada. What the hell is different up here that you think I would have sold it last fall.
IT's another option.
So my 23400 or two bags of high quality durum is worth $292,000.00.
What the hell don't you get its my grain I choose when to sell and to who. I have no gun at my head saying sell today for this much.

Nobody forced you to sign a contract for this year. If you are so sure the market is rising hold your grain. The point is no one can predict markets, only guess, when you look a year out. Would you sell at 8 ,9, 10, 11 etc? The world won't care what system we use. It probably won't determine whether any of us survive in farming.

CWB board of directors (also used to measure operations performance)
and executed by the CWB operations side achieves better prices for
western Canadian farmer than they can do on their own based on
individual decisions.

Whatever system is used, they are both mechanical processes that bring
grain (in this case durum) into the elevator system as defined by
processors needs to purchase grain on the one hand, farmers need to
sell on the other and the logistics capacity that ties them together.
Nothing magical. Just the mechanics of marketing.

The problem is the agstars, vaders, and stubblejumpers of the world don't consider your opinion to have even one cent of value.

There is some unknown benefit that is derived by some, that makes them loyal to the end on that sinking ship.

All anyone can be sure of is that markets will go up and down ,timing is everything. I prefer not to play the timing game. If you wish to hedge , grain exchanges and etf's exist where you can play the game for a price.

Or you can sell when or how much you want when sales fit your budget needs or when profitability is relevent - no different than all off board grains/oilseeds for the past 40 yrs. It is not a big scary world for most of us.
