Markets - third try

Politics and religion seem to spur a lot passion than prices/markets in the discussion. Maybe a good thing given the price declines experienced.

    Highlight the following.

    historical charts

Also, flexpro will be announced over the next couple of weeks. Will be interesting if any changes.

Would also watch for release of the CWB annual producer survey. Not markets but interesting.

    Charlie,

Since the CWB is both politics and religion... there is little wonder Agriville participants skillfully debate it 24/7/52.

I note the CWB prices on CWRS 2010/11 pool 100 percent EPO and 2011/12 PPO cash prices are nearly identical... day after day.

    I wonder how this happens?

Sad that these CWB prices are over $3/bu under US grower prices... just south of the border for the same quality.

We just finished delivering 16 loads of milling wheat to Permolex in Red Deer. After the CWB messed us up for 6 months... it was great that we finally were allowed to mill this wheat!

How we get anything done within the CWB system... with all the nit-picking crazy rules... that are not at all market driven or customer oriented... is a simple miracle!

We look forward to August 1st 2012... with hope and faith commercial business will resolve many of these bottlenecks and problems imposed upon us from Winnipeg.

Date setting on freedom from the 'Single Desk'... is somewhat like the bible saying no one will know the day or the hour of his expected return!

Minister Mayer, Minister Strahl, and Minister Ritz... some days must feel like Harold Camping... who predicted the end of the world on May 21, 2011!!!

Chairman Oberg... is certainly predicting... the end of the CWB... August 1/2012!!!
