Freewheat, I went to Saskatoon today and the canola gets better west of Humboldt!
    Bolting, fantastic around Petersen.

Wadena west just gets better, barley heading at Clair.

Watson to Humboldt all crops are more advanced.

Now I'm disappointed even more with our WET WET WET!

we had a wet spell like yours here in scotland in 1985,86,87. and again in 2000, 01 ,02
both times it ruined plenty and halved the land price.

Farming101: That is bizarre, did you actually seed that?
Freewheat: some of our sandy soil is also causing problems in the discharge areas(water moving through and coming out somewhere else), we couldn't seed some ground because of it. Not that there was water standing on it but it was just too wet. Every time it rains there is water in the sprayer trails(ruts).

Farming101: Not to make fun of a sad situation, but how did the A-B line autosteer work for you on that or even the last pass guidance would be a challenge.

                  101,

What is this... 320 ac or 80 ac?

We got stuck 5 times on Friday... needed big 4wd to pull out each time.

Going UP hills is the big problem... when we go through water or on flat OK... JD4730 Crop on transportation Utility coridor just west of Sherwood park on Hwy 216 East Edm. Water table at surface from SH PK runoff storage ponds... water everywhere.

Tom: I think it may on 320 acres. Wouldn't the width of the sprayer passes look bigger(wider) if it were on an 80 acre piece?? It takes about 14-15 sprayer(100ft) passes to go across 80 acres

Yes that is a half section and yes it is seeded this year. There's about
200 left of it(including a little overlap lol!)We have seeded right around 300 on it. Sectional control got a workout.
Didn't get it seeded last year. That's the kind of mess 30-40 inches of rain leaves in pothole country.
