If they feed #1 durum to their chickens and cows,
they were recently able to buy it for the same
price as feed wheat. All that durum being fed
helped drive the price of feed wheat even lower,
so in a way your Hutterite neighbors are right.
The CWB did help their dairy and chicken
operation by forcing the rest of us to subsidize
them with cheap feed.

The CWB trys to convince western grain growers they are the same as supply management. Then the CWB tells supply management folks... the CWB 'single desk' is the same.

NOTHING could be further from the truth. The CWB Act (monopoly in the crudest terms) requires the 'single desk' create lower grain prices to western CDN grain growers (than international prices)... to allow the monopoly CWB 'single desk' to be created...

which is a continuous process of pricing that requires grain growers prices be LOWER than international prices.

That is EXACTLY why the graphs and tables shown on the second ADLER segment are the way they are.... (grain prices are LOWER by CWB DESIGN... to enforce the 'single desk').

I does the CD HOWE economist actually get this connection...?

Fransisco... does he understand section 46 of Part IV of the CWB Act requires the prices of the pools be as low as possible to maintain the 'single buying desk' and stop leakage to export markets?

Which is why 1Durum was priced at feed price... as was 1soft white...

Talk about the crime of the centruy... and we PAY the CWB out of OUR pool money... to buy software... computers... ships... PR contracts... stress bonuses... you name it...

TO LOWER POOL PRICES ENOUGH TO MAKE SURE NO GROWER ('DESIGNATED AREA') CAN AFFORD THE BUYBACK AND GET A cwb EXPORT LICENSE.

I TRULY FEEL BAD FOR THE MONOPOLY SUPPORTERS. THEY want to beliEve the CWB... and what the CWB keeps telling all of us... with our own money... THEY TRULY WANT TO BELIEVE IT IS TRUE.

OTHERWISE THEY HAVE BEEN SCAMMED... AND THEY (NDP CWB monopoly supporters) DO NOT WANT TO KNOW THEY HAVE BEEN SCAMMED... BY THOSE THEY MOST TRUST.
