Okay willie, lets see some evidence. Show us how the board gets people more for their feed grains than they'd otherwise get. The board has had 75 years to prove this, and has never been able to do so.

      Funny someone should mention hogs.
A very successful (private) family farm corp. farrows in Canada and finishes in US. Anyone care to want to go "back to the 40s" with pork?
Then why wheat? Or a specialty crop like barley?

Gd sitting here stuck in peas. So here it goes!
I want out it's that simple you can have you
plebiscite what ever I personally just want out.
I'm sick of all the bull shit that the CWB spouts
off every day. Any normal company would realize
to survive you have to get lean and mean and
get ready for the future. Knot our great CWB they
want to study and discuss and dig up old farmers
from the grave to say how great and powerefull
        they are.. Caugh!!!
Well my vote went conservative and all rural
risings did except mine the stupid goodale won
but by his slimest margin so gut the damn thing
and give me choice. Quit pissing away my
money and just let me out.

            Notaredneck...

So you are not financed by grain companies? NOT 1 Corporation pays you anything?

This means you are not a grain farmer???

              Dear Mr Oberg

The CWB may have a democratic election to elect directors but as your survey shows they do not represent the majority of grain producers wishes or for that matter the majority of the grain produced.

This is not a democratic decision, but an economic one. This will be decided by trucks and bushels, not by estates and landlords who don't make a living from raising grain. If the Board drags its feet and fails to recognize that if it does not change and become more relevant to today's grain producers needs and provide a service to Western Canadian Grain producers you will be the last board of directors.

If the CWB is so sure they have the majoity of farmer support they should not be worried about farmers having the choice of how they market their own crop. If the CWB can not compete in the real world then they are done and should be done. Time to raise the white flag.
