    Got my plebiscite

    Now what to do... ??

Gotta laugh at the 2 options.

Complete control or open market. I guess that means if they lose the monopoly they close the doors.

    Oh well.

Not much of a football game last night hey boys?

Nice day here. Might go to the rodeo.

      Dear Silverback;

I saw a letter from MNP... that must be it???

How many folks will throw it out as junk mail?

What a total waste of our money and time.

Got mine too. It will be going to Minister Ritz with a letter thanking him for his commitment thus far and urging the gov't to continue (on freedom for farmers).

1 Braveheart. Sent mine to my MP with a note supporting the abuse of my property being wasted on expensive plebiscites end Aug 2012.

Several are on their way to the House of Commons. Will they get there without postage (when parliament is not in session)?

I just opened the letter from MNP.

I see that since I didn't sell the CWB barley... I do not get to vote.

WHAT a total farce this plebicite is!

Just as those who did not grow or market wheat through the CWB... because of the job they do... do not get a ballot.

Just as in; a municipality would not let a landowner vote... because they didn't get any services directly fromthem... but we got to pay the taxes =to (the CWB single desk) the CWB stopping us from growing and selling our wheat, barley or durum... as directly told to us by 'single desk' supporters over and over.

OK this is just a stupid waste of my money and time... why waste any more energy on these clowns that could care less about our property or democratic rights.

                END of RANT.

                        Fransisco,

Sounds almost as crazy as 'designated area' wheat growers being thrown in jail for trying to sell for a better price than the CWB offers!

                            Fransisco,

The 'single desk' would be proud!

                            Here is an article:

HOW DO YOU like them apples? Or lemons in this case as police in US state of Georgia shut down an ‘illegal’ lemonade stand run by three young girls trying to save up for a trip to a water park.

AP reports that the three girls were forced to shut down their little enterprise after police in the town of Midway said they didn’t have a business licence or the required permits.

Police also said that it was not known how the lemonade was made, who made it or what was in it. (Lemons, probably)

The three girls had been operating for one day when Midway police chief Kelly Morningstar and another officer cruised by, and informed the girls they needed a business licence, a peddler’s permit and a food permit to operate, even on residential property.

Such permits cost around $50 a day and another $180 per year.

One of the girls, 14-year-old Casity Dixon told local station WJCL: “It’s kind of crazy that we couldn’t sell lemonade. It was fun, but we had to listen to the cops and shut it down.”

I bet this will keep up the price of lemonade at local restaurants!
