Still voting to allow one group to decide how another group manages their personal property.

Can someone please explain why that makes any sense at all.

For the "Farmers for Sticking it to The Neighbor", it makes perfect sense.

wilagro that is an ignorant comment on multiple levels. You don't have to be a farmer to understand that the basic principle of voting away someone else's property is wrong. And you are working under the faulty premise that all farmers agree with you on this voting nonsense, when that is certainly not the case. It also completely side steps a very reasonable question that you obviously don't have an answer for.

            Wilagro,

You don't expect me to believe you can live from the profits netted from 80 acres of CWB grains each year?

              Wilagro:

Why do you think I represent grain traders?

To avoid a sincere question by suggesting I
might not understand something because of what
you think my affiiations are is simply sophomoric.
If that 's the best you can do, it's no wonder the
CWB and it's supporters have never been able to
prove the value of the single desk.

Willy's half right, you get at least one vote on 80 ac then for every 100 tn you get anouther. Any ac size over that makes no diff. If you have more bus at stake you get more votes, based on 5 year ave production(for everyone) - it is the same in every other democratic business in the free world. Those with the most at risk get the most say. And it does not bother me one bit if someone gets 2 or 3x the votes as me, there is simply more at stake for him. But for someone who has far less at stake to have 3x the voteing power is ridiculas.

                      </i>"wacked out "...stupid" ...."nimrods"</i>

Name calling is poor substitute for reason and
                      facts.

Please explain why it is reasonable to have a
vote to eliminate someone's property rights.

A mob decision to burn someones car is not
legitimate, even if they have a vote to do so.  A
society which doesn't respect property rights is
not civil, nor can it be prosperous in the long
                      term.
