What will final durum value be!

Ok you all know my last two bags of durum paid
me in my pocket 4.75 for #2 high protien durum
through the CWB.
ND is over $15 so where will I end up.
Also sold 4 bags of #5 for $7.50 during the
winter.
So if I make $2.75 more for shit durum than #2
and by all accounts the world is short durum
should I expect $10.25 final from the CWB.
Ha haha ha, I'll be lucky if they return me the
$2.75 that my feed paid.

And the cwb has dropped their asking
price by 100 dollars a tonne in a short
market. What does that tell you?

That I will hold my quality '08 and '09 durum to August 2012. Hopefully, I'll be able to turn what is a short 2011 crop into a decent price by Feburary, 2012 that I can August deliver on. If not, well, then just one more opportunity lost because the Cons. wouldn't put a bullet into the CWB over market weight pig's head on this day, not one year out.

I agree Tom by waiting a year we farmers loose
again.
Their is no way any farmer will see huge profi
from durum in Canada because the CWB
dumped our new crop to our top paying
customers "Choke up vomit"!
Their Never was any top paying customers just
a lot of BS from the CWB.
Full audit then dual system. Those that believe
the BS get CWB and the rest have open.

Well Tom, it's like this.

This has not been something that has just sprung itself on a government. It has had years in minority to have planned the introduction of an immediate action for the day it became a majority. To give Olberg and crew a gift of yet another year plus to accomplish the dumping of our durum at horrible prices is not what I would have called a smart policy. I would have taken Olberg at his word that the CWB can not survive without a monopoly, and ended its tenure.

What the government has done is to let those directors go on a one year shopping, spending, contract country binding, you name what they could do, spree. I'd be surprised if you could tell me a simple known one - how we get out of paying for two lakers? I think they could be vendictive enough that they would leave nothing for the receivers, but a cluster ****? If they so chose, SF3's has had his final durum payment, right now!

Why would I trust them with a single cereal kernel going forward? Some of you should think about this, and shut off their supply.

I would like to see the government making bi-
weekley statements on the progrss being made in
winding down the single desk. Decisiveness and
clear direction is the trait that Defines good
leadership. Timelines, milestones and a well-
thought- out plan would show everyone that we
mean business and are determined to make the
plan work to the betterment of all.

As far as I am concerned, the federal government has fumbled the ball on CWB changes. The government's adversary is being underestimated; and wecan expect many unexpected twists and turns in the next year(s).
