    imported Reglone

Anyone importing any reglone from the U.S.? Local prices are 270 and 254 for a ten liter jug. I can get some from a broker for 185 for a 9.5 liter jug. Both have the same grams/liter active ingredient. The only problem might be timing(a little slow out the gate!!), we are starting to see some early changes in the lentils and peas. I think back to what the importing program did for glyphosate prices. If we don't use them, our
wholesale suppliers will never feel the pressure to change prices on this side of the border.

Don't mean to knock any other chemical I would support bring it in. Just want to ask has anyone else have not great results from the Aurora from FNA?
I am not swamped with wild oats but never even used Horizon before so should not have any resistance. Have some almost everywhere.

Where did you get a quote? The US chem dealers I have called have never heard of it.

I receive a market news letter from Johnston"s(in Canada) -- www.ajagra.com. I spent some time on the phone this morning looking for a quote directly from the States and got frustrated. They guys with connections or contacts to the terminal/elevators might have better luck than me. I realize the Canadian brokers are going to make a bit of money, but I don't expect them to do it for nothing either. They will import it on your behalf. If I would have got my shit together earlier I think I would have/could have done it myself. But time is of the essence this late(for me).

Hmm, when I checked this time last year, there wasn't any real price advantage bringing in Reglone. I was going to do it through the GROU program. The retail reps in Montana didn't have any better price than here in Alberta, around $260/10 litre jug if memory serves. Where did you find it at that price, if you don't mind me asking?

Reading your post again, farmaholic, you shouldn't need a broker. Go to the PMRA website, print out the forms, fax them in, take the approved import liscence with you when you get the Reglone(you can only bring back your own). I don't know how long they are taking to issue a liscence this year. The other way to do it is to phone the actual border crossing you plan to cross at and make sure they are aware of the GROU program. Speeds the process sometimes.
