So the current strategy is to attack the conservatives

may get the board just what they are asking for and

Any new business has risks. We are are the owners of this F'n Organization if they need 1 billion to buy some assets come to the farmers that own it and raise the cash. That is of course if the guys that are fighting so hard for this are willing to put there money where there mouth is! $20,000 from 50000 Farmers is a Billion is that enough. Why would anyone invest in a management team with such a defeatist attitude? The Government is why we are in this mess in the first place! The Board is done like dinner, but there is an opportunity if the Oberg and company don't piss it away. Instead of shutdown costs they should be looking for startup money!!!

Tom, most of me wants Oberg to continue his ways. Let the CWB sink.

We had respect for those who wanted to use a non profit marketer by promoting the dual market or voluntary wheat board idea. It could have worked. But the socialists want us all to march to the beat of their drum. So, forget it. Let it go. Wind it down. Give them the same severence as the 500 who lost their jobs in 1943 got.

Just imagine a world where the left wing media wouldn't be able to bemoan the CWB at every turn. Where neo political dribble that passes for CWB news releases isn't a weekly event.

Yes, well, to sit on your hands while the CWB bought ships was not in the interest of farmers.

There can be a stark difference between the interest of the corporation vs the interest of farmers.

Farmers essentially have had NO say how their money is spent except for one elected voice, who, it appears, has a keen interest in his pay, pension and perks. In other words, the status quo.

The old herd mentality gone amiss is so irresistible isn't it, in the name of solidarity, puke, puke: the property-smashing mob in Vancouver differs little from the economic-smashing mob at the CWB.

Somebody has to pay the bills, don't they.

Ritz will be remembered for only one thing, the americanization of grain marketing in Canada. He has no interest in the survival of any type of marketing agency run by farmers. He has proven it by never once talking to the CWB to understand what they do.
