mbratrud is on the right track

a few posts back he posed questions looking for solutions and all he got was for and against argueing about history...

you need contructive thinking here by both sides or you will get bogged downand end up with heaven forbid something worse than current marketing system.

charlie does the same but it denegrates into the ame old argument.

do you really want politicians to make all the decisions?

were is you national farmers voice that you are all members off and talk to the govt on farmers behalf or do you not have such a organization?

Thanks Malle for getting my point. As far as a united voice, I really wish there was.

I agree. We have a lot of questions that need answers. There is a lot of issues that need to be addressed in a very short time frame.

Its too bad the CWB arent publicly saying they are working on a plan to take to the minister. I said earlier in this process that I bet they are behind closed doors and I still believe they are. I hope the stop playing the political game and quit wasting our money. They need to get their ideas out there so farmers, industry and govt know what the new system will look like. and they need to do it ASAP

Why do farmers think they should speak with one voice. I never agree on anything that BTO, Chuckie, Agstar, etc talk about. The only time one ever speaks with one voice is when they are forced to....and people around the world are losing their lives fighting for the ability to have dissension amongst the ranks. I am wrong...the other time that a sector speaks with one voice is when they have 30-40 billion worth of "goodwill" i.e. quota on their balance sheet.

Some farmers are always asking for money from the government while others would give up government support just to have government out of their face.
