I am starting to become genuinely concerned that all the costs associated with the propaganda campaign to save the wheat board will be borne by the pool accounts. Add to that all the other associated wind up costs etc.... So I have a couple of questions.
1. How much is this propaganda campaign going to cost the pool accounts.
2. How much are reasonable estimates of wind up costs going to be and will these be subtracted from the final.
3. How long till private firms start contracting next years grain.
4. Has anyone noticed the fixed price basis getting larger to help pay for this, or has it been within what is considered normal. I don't grow wheat so I don't follow it.
I am considering carrying over my board grain(malt) to aug 1/2012 so there is no way I will pay for any part of the wheat boards last ditch effort to save itself. If I grew wheat I would probably be considering a fixed price contract, but I only have malt this year, and I will never sign a production contract for malt with the board again.
I am just trying to figure out all the possibilities in my head and the question of who pays these costs is a big one and I do not in any way want to help pay for the boards mismanagement this year.
