    Friday Crop report!

Well got to 9 percent. Then the rain hit. 1.25 at
farm water all over the place.
Barley off av 60 oh well. Nice looking good
    weight.
Peas early ones off average 50 on four quarters.
Next two suck suck suck so if they get hail or if
    the birds want it's theirs.
Started early canola got 20 acres off and rain hit.
Nice 150 liberty but just started.
Canola all almost swath. Late section left.
Late wheat still not desicatedbut close frost would
    downgrade.
Durum desiccated 8 days ago rain delay, also
    early wheat 7 to 9 days .
    Fall spraying barley stubble done.
Basically rain delay will cost time and some
barley that's swath will have grade loss.
Some Hrs downgraded because of ergot.
    Lentils 18 tops .
Flood damage not as bad as last year but still not
    back to normal.

6 tenths rain. Working on last 1/2 section of green lentils running 40 plus should make a #2. First 1000 greens averaged 31 bpa and #1's. Early durum ready soon as it dries. Late wheat 10-12 days away. Dessicating late durum and wheat. Red lentils dessicated. 40% complete..

WE are sitting watching the forecast. Some canola being swathed but even our early seeded early canola will be a couple more days before it will be ready to swath. Crops look good but not holding our breath.

Calling for low of plus 6 here. Hope that cold southern air does not move this way. Things are pretty ripe though so frost would have minimal damage. Only few fields have green in them anymore.

2009, 400 threshing hours, swathmaster, tow hitch, delux cab. Walked around and no damages anywhere.
You don't have to run the feeder chain fiddle string tight do you??? The women are scared to drive it cause I told them it had 480 hp. LOL

Kept the two old 1680's I hope, Run em' till The Wheels fall off. Boy I bet The Old Man is looking down on ya Grinning The Big Grin from Ear to Ear. He probably still kin't believe How Big Machines have gotten to this day. I kin hear him cursing up there already, "If only they would build the ****** Cleaning Capacity bigger to handle all that Horsepower with these Bigger Combines". I tend to agree with him.................
