who will pay the price at vitterra

The preventable death of a 27 year old vitterra
employee leaves many questions to be
answered. Buried alive what a terrible thing to
happen. My heart goes out to the young mans
family. Being involved in the drilling industry
myself I am well aware of a strict safety
standard that cannot be compromised at any
price. Vitterra has screwed up big time and
    should pay the utmost penalty.

Grain handling giant Viterra says one of its employees was fatally injured yesterday at the company's elevator in Rosetown.

In a statement Friday, the company said it is working closely with authorities to investigate the death.

The employee's name has not been released.

There are reports that the employee died after becoming buried while cleaning a grain bin.

Surprising this does not happen more often when farmers clean out heated grain. And yes I have a bin of that.
