Calgary Herald says frost had no impact.

So is it true Alberta made it again with no crop
damage big big yields and all harvested.
My thinking is the reporter is just a little bit out to
lunch. Is the reporter out to lunch or got it right.
It's marketing because this will definatelly kill
prices if all think Alberta has a bin burner.

The reporter is out to lunch. Frost will cause damage in the later seeded stuff. My area about 40% done but had 1/2 inch Sunday night. We need 2-3 weeks.

This area just getting started and needs 3 weeks to finish. Still see some unswathed canola fields.

He is out to lunch. Basically just started around
here too. Already seeing frost damage in the
CWRS. Pretty sure some canola is going up have
weird green counts from a couple early frosts in
August. Hit and miss throughout the area here.
Really looking forward to the use of falling
numbers in milling wheat grading, can't come
        soon enough.

Calgary is home to some huge bags of wind.
This report is one of those. Crops out
here are generally, poor to fair NO BIN
BUSTERS, unless you count the oats raised
in the old hog pen out back!
