Mustard, the "Crow rate" was gone long, long ago. You are talking about the Crow Benefit" administered under the WGTA. I don't know anyone who wanted it gone. (Though it was declining and running out anyway).

I wanted it paid to farmers. Poolies, wheat board nuts and the like wanted it paid to the railways, yes, the very same you seem to dispise.

I read that "Conte Luna Foods, Grand Forks" has been making pasta for 100 years in the U.S.A. Have a well established business.

If they decided to not pay the farmers,no problem farmers are stupid and will still vote for the same gov't expecting different results.
