Seems the NFU aren't looking very likely to keep
their accreditation under stable funding in Ontario.
Interesting story in Ontario Farmer this week about
dissension in the ranks. Things like the Ontario
members electing their provincial president ("co-
ordinator") and the national headquarters deciding
they didn't like the members choice and appointing
their own choice instead, who wasn't even a
member of the provincial organization at the time.
Or the nationals leaving their buddy Ann Slater in
place as director #11 (on a board of 10) for months
after the provincial members voted her out.
Odd that a national organization depending on
Ontario for the majority of it's budget would flout
democratic principles so openly when dealing with
their own membership.

as well as in Ontario Farmer if you can get it.
