    Tractor Lumps

You've been sitting on the tractor for a long time.
How do you get your heart rate up? Run? Bike?
Lift weights? Do you tend yourself? Or
    everybody else instead? Pars

You run machinery that is old enough
that you have lots of running for parts,
hiking to the truck, and heavy lifting
on a twice daily basis. As well, you
combine a canola crop you think should
be going 40 plus, but by the third round
you realize she ain't hardly gonna make
    25. That raises the heart rate, and
sweat glands get a good workout that way
    as well.

Far as the farm managers who sit in the
office an listen to reports every 3
hours of "done NE 18, now where boss?" I
think these guys are doomed to health
issues. Specially cuz their crops always
run 50 or more... No heart rate
    increases...

Yes, there will be a lot more sitting around on the computer or smart phone, doing all that marketing next August. T4 will need a new exercise regime.

Heart rate?yes little doubt diet and exercise are
              important.

Big broad subject though, they still are baffled by
the placebo effect and everyone seems to think flax
is good for them but none seem to know how fast it
goes rancid and what a free radical is.

Then they end up in the doctors office with colon
cancer crying that they lived healthily and did all
the right things while the old lady smoking and
drinking at the casino chugs on.

10,000 steps a day. A morning 3 mile walk, and a mile in the evening gets you well on the way. It's the recipe for the ole' guys feeling alive. The human body was made for walking, not running down your food for the day, which fits the present lifestyle. Run most of the time, and your first knee replacements will give out on you by the time you reach senior status, so you fw pup types should gear down!!!!

Cott: S is a programming language. R is sorta
                    like it's the S's pig Latin. R is a case-sensitive
interpreted language. O/t but fructose is, well,
fructose. I have 2 freezers full of home-grown
food.but then you Already know I am quite mad.

Checking, I agree that walking is the best of all
exercising. But biking is fast and dangerous the
way I ride...you can walk all winter. lol pars.
