Is fertilizer priced to high given the down turn in
all commodities. I say yea, this latest spike in the
fall fert price is bs. Farmers who locked in supply
got screwed again by the fert companies.
Were loosing on the grain prices yet they think
they deserve a raise.
Let the frisking world starve is my attitude same
as 2008. I'll cut back next year since all the
flooded ground is like SMF.
This idea that every time we make some pennies
they in turn deserve dollars.
And sadly it's the same bs out of the fert
companies propaganda machine, farmers will
gear up production to meet demand.
Simply put but I think farmers will say F U this
time and 2008 will be repeated.
Right now were sitting and waiting. Glyfos at 2.50
liter is cheap and yes the deal did go down, but
increases for fert are not warranted at this time.

50% higher than a year ago!
Highway robbery just because they see the grain prices and anticipate demand increase.
Nat gas is almost worthless.
Got screwed in 2008, hate to apply now.

Fertilizer is a great price! If you want farmers to put less on, therefore get lower yields, which leads to reduced supply and higher prices. Gotta look at the bright side.
