Just in but they wont tell us where exactly so Guess. Club root was discovered on a farm in N Saskatchewan. Hm that could be from N battleford to Hudson bay. Kind of a few fields of canola grown. Also these guys that seed canola back to back need their head examined. Kill a good crop on stupidity.

Not saying that growing canola back to back is
good or bad but I thought clubroot had to be
brought in. It doesn't just show up because of
excessive canola growth. If they had clubroot
and continued to grow back to back then maybe
some blame. I grow canola and it pays most of
my bills, it annoys me that some govt employees
want to have the right to destroy my crop or tell
me when I can grow canola. It is a disease and
a serious one but should be able to be managed
with new varieties as well as rotations. When
was the last time a govt employee told someone
not to grow barley on barley or wheat because
of fusarium or they would destroy the crop. I
still believe it has to be brought in by some
source, tight rotations would only speed up the
spread in field, I may be wrong.

Could be any where from Kindersly to Cold Lake. The whole North West has cross boarder oil and gas companies diggin drillin and trenching, it was just a matter of time. BTW it was confirmed last year in west central Sask, west of Kindersly.
