Ok I will just say you did. :-)
For one Bunge and ADM for example are global corporation, Canada is a small but important part of their global business. So small is one reason why the CWB means not a whole hell of a lot.
Other is that they average a P/E ratio of under 10 percent currently. P stands for Price of stock. E stands for net Earnings. Meaning naturally they are making money for every 10 dollars of investment there is more than 1 dollar profit, dividend typically sucks, so they are taking in more money than they are spending equals profit for shareholders, share price should rise. By the way you own them in your rrsp mutual funds.

Wilagro, put your ideology aside just for a second and open your eyes to reality. Has the CWB ever provided anyone with an accurate prediction of grain prices when producers are planting their crops. Their spring Pro's have been a disaster for the durum markets especially by encouraging overproduction only to have the rug pulled out from underneath us all. In an open market where you can lock in a foward price for future delivery that appeals to you as an individual and meets or exceeds your cost of production, what is it that your afraid of? Your doom and gloom, sky is falling routine has grown tired.

Not true Wilagro, and if true not right....get it?
Some will fail,some will succeed,
Some see floors,others see greed,
If i was a poet,
you wouldn't know it,
I'm a different breed
