Furrow, you are right the cwbers are looking for any kind of issue small or large to challenge the credibility or character of the our side of the issue. It is trivial to me but I'm not eskimo and i'm not important it is what the public and eskimos think.

I think it kinda represents to some degree the poor way that our gov has handled explaining the facts to the public compared to the distorted views of the cwbers that I think the general public is accepting to a greater degree. Do we really have to rely on a comic sketch to give the facts? And bottom line is he is a gov official if eskimos are not offended it's a dead issue but if they are then he needs to take the video off the website and appologize to end the issue.

He already took the video off the website to appease those less tough politically correct idiots. But is it burried? Heck no! Lets continue dragging this supposedly painful to the eskimos issue through the mud forever if possible. Sheesh.

When did Canada become a nation of pansies with hurt feelings all the time? Sorry to the flower family. i hate to offend and single out a splendid little annual flower. The roses will be sad I ignored them, the pansies will take offense, and the tulips will sue me on behalf of the pansies.

Didn't realize he took it off, but it was the right thing to do. What you and I think is right is not always what the rest of the world thinks. Unfortunately politics has become more of game played on symantics and spin as apposed to the facts. The video does give some of the facts and that is why the cwbers are trying to loose those facts in the debate about eskimos. Take away the ammo and they fire blanks.

After the CBC segment there seems to be some controversy over the phrase "you are talking Eskimo." So let me give a word of explanation. I was born in the North West Territories in 1979 and my birth certificate was written in both English and Eskimo (as it was called in 1979). Listening to CWB propaganda made me sometimes think that they were talking a completely different language. Hence the phrase.

              LWeber,

What do the Edmonton Eskimos have to change their names now?

What about Eskimo Ice Cream Pies???

              I cannot believe this!

All in common terms and venacular... all this means is something from the north!

What are they now complaining that we like our steak rare as well???

              LOL WOW!!!

What was most offensive about the video was the multitude of LIES about the CWB which no doubt brought chuckles from you chuckleheads.

I still have a copy of the video and it is offensive but NOT because of the reference to "eskimo" or "eskimos".

Yeah willy, I find it offensive to, that a young farmer can not sell his own wheat or mill it and bake it. In Canada. In 2011. I am not making this up.
