    Saskatchewan election prediction

    must total 58

my guess. Sask Party 46 NDP 12 (I will call them the dirty dozen)

Not in a good WWII movie way, but in the porn of the same name way.
Libs and Progressive Conservative party will not get 2% combined.
They lost all their leadership in 99 when the SP was formed. The Libs have a few people left just going for perks and Senate seats when the Libs are back in power federally. (at this rate 2025) Although their platform to have Alberta style liquor stores is a good one.

The PC's only have one guy left Rick Swenson. Don't know what's his problem.

Green's might get some traction in NDP's that won't vote for Link. Not enough to get seats though.

    Thoughts?

If all the indians believe and figure out the reform party (sp) hates them and they all vote one way, your numbers are screwed!

Just referring to comments made last couple of days to Mr. Ottenbreit's remarks, that's all. It is fact that the response from Indian leaders was for him to leave the race, Mr. Wall said no. Indians are organizing, they want money and resources, sk party wants the majority of money to go to oil companies and the small amount of royalties to the rest of the people.

People sooner or later will have to get their head out of their asses and realize that all these groups are looking after themselves first, and these issues should be and need to be dealt with. But we skip along not dealing with it only dealing with the smoke screans gov wants us to talk about while the problem gets bigger.

our governments sponsored support for paying to have babies, and this is the result.

And by the way do you think the indian leaders aren't actively persueing this think again. I am not breaking them any news here. Sounds like you are the one that needs to wake up. They are not stupid, in fact they outsmarted politicians years ago with the treaties and have outsmarted lawyers ever since in the way the treaties are being interpreted.

Riders, if I recall your predictions for the federal
election were way off. Fun to try though.

Sad to say this but NDP will have only 8 seats and Dwayne might loose his. Not good when one gets so many and I am a true Sask Party supporter.
Dwayne is the problem hopefully they don't figure that out before the next one in four year.
AH life is good but its going to be a landslide. BOYS and Dwayne through out the Race card with his bogus fair share for first nations BS. The first nations will build a potash mine on their land and those profits will go to first nations peoples.

You mean the reform didn't win a majority? Oh yeah I know the fluke is hard for you guys to even believe. You could have been a deceased cwb voter running under the conservative banner and the hill billies would still have voted for them. lol

You don't think the oil boy/reform/ex-liberal/ex-conservative/gun lovin/small farm hatin/ pasta makin/ sk party is gonna loose do ya?

Riders, given the current global financial situation and the financial condition of the once mighty Alberta, Sask is in great shape. This was no accident, Brad Wall got us there. If we had the NDP in power we would be in worse shape than Alberta.
Sask Party by a long shot.
But you are right, the natives are getting restless.

furrow I voted for the change because the alternative was so depressing and outdated. But the oil boom is a factor of world price of oil and yes Wall flew around to the oil companies prior to the election and the day after they couldn't get in fast enough, the SP came in at at the right time more than doing anything. But as far as governing rural doctors etc. there has been not much improvement, crap insurance is worse at least for us it is, still no one federal or provincial will work with us farmers to deal with the always present problem of expenses and risk, we see daily the small big and in between farms turning over at an increasing rate and more and more ending up foreign owned. The cwb gone or voluntary is not the answer it is just another marketing tool nothing more, but has been a convenient distraction both federally and provincially for the govs to not deal with anything else more important. jmho

by the way how did that black gold I think it was called turn out on your canola comparison? If I survive financially and can put a crop in next year(doesn't look promising) would like any advantage possible.

It will be a saskp landslide. And lest we forget the last time this gov't had a landslide(1982) WE Are still Paying for the Debt they racked up under Devine

This Boom started Started Before Saskparty came to Power even Brad admits this. When you have Commodities that the world Wants even the High School Student council could Govern.

Should we Get a bigger piece of the royalty Pie or just that crumb that fell to the floor?
Eventually the good times in commodities will end so we better have some Money in the coffers to show for it

The Black Lable canola Macro Nutrient was interesting. We seen a high of 5 bus/ac increase and a low of 2. Tissue samples taken after application showed an increase in phos and a more balanced nutrient ratio.
In the field we seen better plant stucture and pod developement in every treatment. Very noticable in the swather as well. I think under normal conditions a 5 bus increase could be sustained. We had sprayed it on alot of our reseeded canola that had 8 days of 30 deg heat after swathing, some of the yield potential was lost. Definitely going to try more next year as it was easy to use and net benifit was there. If I can make an extra $50 with a $7 investment, it has my attention. Question is, will using an extra $7 in N/P/S do the same? Thats next years project. Problem for us becomes volume and time at seeding if we bump fert rates. Also next year an extra $7 in fert will not go very far.

Thanks for the info furrow! If I can afford will at least try some. A neighbor tried another brand of micro but he did not leave check strip so hard to make comparison when comparing to other fields miles away, but he thought it helped. Check strip is the thing to do.

If the natives are restless, and they have nothing to do, they could start by digging down for pot and oil with their moose and bison shoulderblades.

See on the one hand they want to retain their culture, and yet get revenue from resources they never would have developed.

Well here is what their supposed rich culture was like. They wandered aimlessly without the use of the wheel. They were mostly starving. They would burn the grass that fed the bison, then wonder why thier food disappeared. Read pallisers book. This is what he found when he crossed the prairies.

I simply ask that rather than resent the white man forever, and teach their kids how we screwed them, that they respect him, make themselves respectable as a whole, and move on with life. Or, they should revert to the way it was before.. Killing game with sinews, willows and alder branches. Not using spotlights to hunt moose with highpowered rifles on land I paid for. oops, their land.

I don't mean to sound harsh, but lets get over it already.

For the record, I hire natives at times, and the ones who work agree wholeheartedly!

We all should share in the resources, but we all should work together at extracting them. AS ONE PEOPLE, not two. or this will never be resolved.
