A letter to the CB from Merchant Law

To remind the CWB that they lost their legal right
to spend your pooling money on backroom
    monopoly plots:

On January 21, 2010, the Supreme Court of
Canada dismissed an application from the CWB
for leave to appeal a ruling on the Government of
Canada's advocacy directive. No reasons were
provided. As a result, the directive - initially
issued in October 2006 - remains in force. It
prevents the CWB from spending money
"advocating retention of the CWB's monopoly
    powers".

The Supreme ciur told the CWB to stop
    promoting the single desk.

They are pissing on the court. And stealing your
    money

Isn't it time to have a law firm send them a registered letter? Pars

Mark I note your diligence. Yes we need a group
of farmers to hire a law firm to send an order to
the CWB to cease and desist spending pooling
money on fighting Govt legislation. Pars

The first item is for likeminded farmers to send a
letter to Minister of CWB requesting pooling
money so that producers can commence a
lawsuit against CWB to enforce the Supreme
Court's decision to prevent the CWB spending
farmers' money that the court has ordered shall
      not be spent.

The minister MAY give a Ministerial Order to
release funds to producers for a law suit to
counter monopolist activity. But we need to ask.
Who will sign their name on a letter to minister
      Ritz? Pars

It doesn’t even have to be from someone as expensive as merchant.

Just a letter to the Minister from as many farmers as possible to start with.

Basiscaly stating that, the CWB Board of Directors do not speak for me, and I take exception to the fact that they are allowed to break a law that prohibits them from spending pool money My money on promoting the monopoly.
Why is none doing anything about it?

If that goes nowhere then the next step will be legal action, but this is not something a couple farmers can do this needs to be a large grass roots movement of producers that are sick of watching what’s going on.

I would love to see 10000 letters sent to Ritz and CC'd to Oberg stating just what I said above. Think the Choice side is motivated to do something like that? I am starting to wonder..

What I can't figure out is why don't the friends
of the cwb pay for this lawsuit against the gov't.
The wheat growers have been financing their
own campaign for decades. Why can't they put
their own money where their mouths are,
instead of I using my money so I can fight
          myself.

            parr?

Where did all that money go?What was it ?An ethanol
house or flax plant by north battleford?

Maybe the cwb employees should pay for the court cases. I tried suggesting that today and the person hung up.

Hiring merchant to send a letter is not expensive.
If would be a letter to say stop spending money
the court said you can't spend.

                A legal warning.

If the directors refuse to follow the law, they are
personally liable. Aka criminal actions and one of
the reasons a recorded vote is important Pars

The backup pooling money the minister slots
would be backup classaction dollars in case the
unruly directors make a decision to continue to
                  flaunt the law.

Gotta warn them first. Until farmers do, they will
run roughshod over your earnings. IMHO these
people don't care about your final payment. Pars

Farmers need to make a formal move to show
pending loss in the pool accounts that is
                      prohibited by SCC.

                      Need a complainant.
Farmers stand to lose the most, don't they??

                          Me too

500 names on a warning letter is the only thing
that will cause these fanatics pause. They are
throwing caution to the wind AND as freewheat
asks, why? They wont stop until the pool
accounts are dry, so they have to be stopped, is
the way i view it. pars

What about you and wd starting a FaceBook
page, Mark? Farmers can sign with their names
and addresses. That way they can

list? Ask four other guys to help you compile it?
