    wheat prices

What will be the key factors for a turnaround in wheat prices and when?

Dry season on the plains in the usa?
Easing of fears in the europe?
    Inflation?
    Wet harvest again in australia?
Demand as the best cure for low prices is low prices.
    More activity by hedge funds?

Its all just a tad gloomy for short term, sure ive sold about a third of my production back in feb this year for this years harvest and sold wheat during april june period but ive got another big production year on the cards here.

Guess i will sit tight till 2012 and see what happens.

Any input would be good as its actually a marketing forum

My opinion is to sit tight, very little downside risk, huge
    upside potential.

Awesome volumes, fund guys putting out buy signals.

Local feed prices rising here, local mill had to shut down for a couple hours because of no wheat. Then 3 of us showed up at the same time, sucks I was last truck but not going to complain.

Just curious what price you are selling at and approximate area. Just asking because todays PRO for a 1/2 CWRS 11.5 protein is the range of $5.50 to $6/bu depending on the area.

Feed wheat in Alberta (ACPC website) has a similar range. Feed wheat off the Manitoba Ag Website $6.09/bu.

Sask Ag and Food - $5.30/bu.
