Agriculture has become a forgotten issue in Saskatchewan
The usual post-leaders-debate cleanup of issues that thus far have received short shrift started bright and early Wednesday, with the Saskatchewan Party talking about one issue that wasn't addressed in the previous night's debate.
Those of you who have followed Saskatchewan politics over the years might be surprised by what it is.
Agriculture.
Agriculture? The very issue that's defined Saskatchewan throughout its history has suddenly become an afterthought in election discourse?
What's even more shocking is what Premier Brad Wall had to say during an event at South Country Equipment's new facility about his government's new agriculture policies for the next term: Nothing. There will be no agriculture policy changes, Wall said.
