No wind. Sun shining. Nippy but nice pedaling
bike hard down the grid. I spy my neighbor
riding an Arabian gelding in the adjoining field
and wave. He gallops over to visit with me, his
horse patient until we finish gabbing across the
fenceline.
"One inch of snow in RedDeer this morning and
still coming down slowly", my text reads.
And then I see a splash across Tv saying the
Muslim Brotherhood in the middle East will likely
slam sharia law into new government bills.
Then I look out my window at the birds and blue
sky and the cats lolling about and couldn't help
but sing:
"And I said to myself, what a beautiful day. ".
