parsley: It ainta gonna work with the wrap in the middle. I copied and pasted to notepad and then re-assembled it into one line...then it worked. I don't use Tiny whateveritiscalled so can't send a digest of it either.

Pasting it into google might work...haven't tried that.

Any way, did you see the date of that original letter?...bit ancient isn't it? Also the rebuttal below explaining how all this came about?

Everyone is a lobbyist now-a-days including one regular on this forum who has touted the anti-CWB for years.

Albert Wagner is not exactly portraying an accurate picture here. What Mr. Beingessner said in his column distributed to a number of newspapers and websites was that he had in previous years worked as a consultant on various projects with the CWB, as he has worked for many other organizations.

In the past he was hired to do specific pieces of writing on specific issues. This is what a freelance writer does.

Now this is a little different than what Mr. Wagner implies. I agree that anyone who is taking money from an organization to promote that particular point of view should be upfront about it.

Just like Mr. Wagner was upfront about the fact that he accepts money and gifts from Monsanto to promote their products while holding a position of trust with the WCBG.

          Right?

Or just like Mr. Wagner was a senior executive with CN Rail and most likely accepts a pension from them. That, of course, would in no way influence his thoughts or ideas regarding the railways.

I for one can sleep better at night knowing that people like Albert Wagner are keeping me safe from the evils of the Double Standard Monster

The single deal syndrome is, was and will be
            systemic. Thats the real point.

Stubble, your money paid Paul. He was hired to
do a job And countless papers and writers and
              consultants have been getting paid.
With money YOUR family should have received.

Money you were legislatively supposed to get.
              You didn't.

I do. I send him $450,000.00 cdn funds per two
yr contract. He has to agree not to drink akvavit
while he is on my payroll. The caraway causes
feet to smell... a personal idiosyncrasy of mine
                  thanks for asking

Actually it is unbelievable that in a free country,
this atrocity has been allowed to continue as long
as it did. For a group of cronies and opportunists
to continue this charade for so many years still
                          befuddles me.

McMechan should be raised to sainthood for his
                          sacrifice.
