    CWB Pooling 2012

What I do not get is why the cwb is not asking for tons for 2012 pooling year, or at least fixed prices. Pooling especially. Immagine getting say a tenth of Western grain signed up , or at least trying. **** eh ooops
No shit like get tons for pool or fixed signed up. Is there no advantage here??? No market expertise? No nothing? They think they are done. Why even try working with these losers?

Eight guys ruining the pro cwb suppoters lives. Like the guy says on the ad he will probably lose his farm.

But it won't be because of Harper, it will be because there are eight guys not letting the cwb do its job for next year.

Is someone actually claiming they will lose their farm over the fall of the CWB? Wow, that is the biggest stretch i have ever heard.

In the old world, your only alternative was a futures only basis contract (no fixed price contract or basis contract). More complexity around selling futures and currency risk as well as cashflow requirements for margin.

Whatever system rolls out as we move ahead, the CWB and most grain companies will do an EFP (Exchange for Physical).

Nobody said whether they wanted to lock in prices or not. If you do want to lock in a price, do the futures and wait to see how the game plays out this winter.

Long winded way above of saying sell futures if you want to lock in a price.
