I support the 8 RATS. If!!

what they are doing is legal. I assume this, because I assume that Mr. Ritz has talk to the justice minister who I assume has his connections with the RCMP and I assume that if laws are being broken I assume they will be dealt with in due time. So. Did a majority not vote them in? I assume that it was a legal vote at the time. Yes they did. The moral of this story is "careful of who you vote for" and the point of this story is"if you don't vote look at what you get".

The last I read, the CWB Act specifically states
the MInister can give a Ministerial order.

    He did.
The last I read, the CWB Act can be rescinded
by a government. Any act of parliament can be
    rescinded

The elected power of 8 farmer directors does not
supercede Parliament no matter how many times
they make a wish for perpetuity by snapping a
    chicken's wishbone. Pars

Ah all fine and dandy but I have not heard of any of the employes that inforce our laws that wear guns walking in on 423 main with handcuffs,so I assume it`s legal. so back in 1998 the PCLF s the Lib,s they sure did a number on us farmers. Money is being spent from both sides of the pool, I guess that is good.

It is dangerous to assume just because the 8 "rats" (your words) were not charged means that what they are doing is legal. In politics appearances are everything, the government is already being portrayed as being heavy handed,
charging them would just play to their claim.

johnsmith, I'm not 100% sure the money being
spent on the Grade Eight antics IS debited from
the pool accounts. Are you? Would hardly be
appropriate ro arrest them , if in fact, for example,
the grain handlers' Union is picking up the tab.
Let's wait to see who's signing the cheques?
          Agree?

I suspect that there has always been protocol in
the spending of pool accounts. Some one signed
off, if in fact the money came out of pool
accounts, but there are a few vested interests
with deep pockets just as Parsley points out.

            Down to the wire now.

I'm not sure everyone saw a previous post I made but arrest for the crazy 8 is out of the question at this time. I did contact the RCMP white collar crime division on this. They checked into things and got back to me. They said that as there are several court cases pending re this issue they wouldn't pursue the case anymore at this time. They also said that should any evidence come to light that would be criminal in nature they would open a file and investigate.

While I believe what the 8 lunatics are doing is criminal,it seems if we want satisfaction it would have to come from a civil case.

In the meantime I'm going to keep phoning, writing and encouraging my MP, the Minister, and the PM.

Would it surprise anyone if a farm organization
                sued grade eights? Pars

I don't think the WCWGA has a date yet for the case to be heard. In the meantime the bill is mounting. These idiots are spending our money. There has to be a reckoning.

                      Brave <3

The Grade Eights must be held personally
accountable and responsible for the decision they
chose to make: to disobey a Ministerial order.
                      Parliament's order.

And there will be consequences. Pars

johnsmith: First of all I am not defending the ProBoard side with this comment. Yes a majority did vote them in, but giving marketing choice was not the only plank in their platform. Was every seat they won based on that single plank, hardly. Would it be fair to say they can legalize prostitution because they have a general majority but some votes were cast for them by people who want prostitution legalized. As I've said in an earlier post it is a lame excuse, we know they said they would do it, so go ahead, but don't say your doing it because we are the elected majority. I bet a huge amount of people who voted Conservative don't even know what this is all about or could give a rat's ass less.

I think it is pretty simple. The CWB has always had a legal line item for challenges of all sorts. This is just another legal bill. But in the end we all know where the money comes from.
