Fertilizer pricing.

How are people looking at the fertilizer situation this year. Has anyone bought some already? Is anyone buying some soon to lock in the current prices or waiting in anticipation of the prices falling? What about the guys looking for a tax dodge, does the prospect of prices falling with uncertain world events(like 08) keep you from buying before your year-end? We got burned bad in 08 and that year of overpaying offset alot of years of prebuying at (sometimes) marginal savings compared to spring prices. Turbulent times!!

I have heard international prices are
falling right now especially for nitrogen.
I don't think Canadian prices will fall
from these levels by much nor do I think
that they will go much higher. I bought
generic glyphosate for 2.50/L recently and
am going to buy phos needs by year end but
will wait and see on N.

next leg lower in grain prices is coming and they are thinking we should over pay for fertilizer. Not going to happen this year will purchase for year end what usually do but that's it.
