Forward pricing opportunities in feed barley for new crop and post CWB monopoly seem to indicate that feed barley may finally benefit from a north American market where barley is more closely tied to corn values. This may also show up in feed wheat values and sales opportunities which seemed so poor in 2010-2011. While it might be argued that the CWB has marketing skill and contacts when it comes to milling wheat and Durum, it would seem that is not the case with feed grains. The private trade has a reason to chase this market if they can make a margin. If the board had a similar attitude they wouldn't be where they are at today.

No stronger evidence could be found.
Regardless of price we can see the entire trail and all the players.
This pushes a raw nerve I've had since '86. Remembering clearly all the greasy palms a bushel of barley passed through as I was trucking it from a Van. railyard to WA.
As I write this I am looking @ the special edition Grain Matters. The stone faces on the cover make me boil. I've been 'steamrollered' my whole career @ 2 mph. This drives a freight up their ass @ 55.
