Sun News goes back to basics with Bell
Good news for Bell TV customers.
Sun News, along with three other TVA specialty channels, will return to Bell by Dec. 15, TVA Group said Tuesday.
Sun News will be included in the basic package and will be distributed to all Bell subscribers outside Quebec.
“We are very pleased that Bell TV subscribers across the country will once again be able to enjoy Canada’s new home for Hard News and Straight Talk,” said Luc Lavoie, head of development for Sun News.
Sun News will be available on channel 506 (SD) on Bell Satellite TV and on channels 531 (SD) and 1531 (HD) on Bell Fibe TV.
“With shows like The Source with Ezra Levant and Byline with Brian Lilley, it’s a prime time line-up that we’re confident will be a welcome addition to many living rooms," said Lavoie.
Fret not sports fans, a free preview of TVA Sports will be available for Bell subscribers until Dec. 31.
The channel has already signed agreements with many popular properties, such as the Ottawa Senators, the Toronto Blue Jays and the Ultimate Fighting Championship, to name a few.
It will be offered until Dec. 31.
Specialty channels Yoopa, will be available on channel 188 (SD) on Bell Satellite TV and on channels 150 (SD) and 1150 (HD) on Bell Fibe TV, while Mlle will be available on channel 194 (SD) on Bell Satellite TV and on channels 194 (SD) and 1194 (HD) on Bell Fibe TV.
