    How Much Longer?

I have to admit I am not sure of the minute details of
    Bill C-18.

Now that the bill has gone to the senate how much
longer will the gang of 8 be able to collect per diems?

There ought to be time for several board meetings to
plot strategy before the act passes the senate or is
    implemented.

A collectivist likes to collect...per diems, wealth of others, pride, jealosy, control, etc.
    Winston Churchill--"
Socialism is the philosophy of failure,
    the creed of ignorance,
    and the gospel of envy."
The Regina Manifesto-- No CCF government will rest content until it has eradicated capitalism and put into operation the full program of socialized planning....
The death of the CWB monopoly means the last illegitimate offspring of its
    corrupt political creators is history!!

But the best part is that the CWB was not brought in by a SOCIALIST government.
          Stick that up your nose.

Perhaps some remedial reading is in order to understand the roots of the CWB and how it kept Prairie farmers and farming from complete collapse.

If it is no longer needed then that will be the end of it.

Yes I've stuck that up my nose many times, Wil ,
which is why I call a government who confiscates
land a communist government. No matter what
their letterhead states And it's also why I call
            someone who advocates legislated mandatory
checkoffs .....yup, a communist. And why I call
someone quota-ing out creamcans, here it
            comes... a communist.

I don't trust any political party to not spot an
advantage and take it like it is their own. NDP
Alan Blakney was more far more right than PC
Joe Clark. It's not the the name tag that counts.
            It's what they DO! Pars

Big Al Blakney, Mr. Land Bank, right wing? A bit of a stretch.

What burns my arse is the dollars the cwb is going to spend fighting a losing battle. The only ones that are going to suffer is the guys that are expecting any cwb payments, that money is going for legal expenses. The rest of us will prosper in the coming year with the open market. Simple as that.

I'll agree with you highwayman. Tis a stretch to
write the word 'right' beside either one of them.
Your eye and mind are working in tandem tonight
and mine need an alignment. Lol. Pars

SW-1..Called the United Church HQ to see WHY they supported the CWB.Gary Kenny(sp) stated that they were promoting the `social gospel` that`s their mandate he said.
There`s lots of socialism out there to be eradicated!!!!!!!

I had that same conversation with the UC church
in the 90's when they openly supported jailing
farmers and openly pushed social activism for
promoting marketing boards, with many of the
radicals wanna-be socialist politicians tied to he
hip with the wheat board. The UCC seemed
more interested in coaxing souls to vote for the
NDP than they were in saving souls, nwhich I had
previously presumed was an intuitively obvious
mandate. It took me a week to realize I was
                        wrong to presume.

Since that time, their political ambitions are being
pursued without my financial support. Pars
