    What to complain about now?

So now that the CWB monoploy is gone
(If the Courts don't intervene)what are you guys going to complain about now?

It is going to be a big adjustment for those of you who have made a career of bashing the CWB on Angryville to discuss other issues.

    What next?

All must be well now that Harper has basically shut down debate on every issue and is prepared to use whatever power he has to steamroll on. I am not sure why we bother electing MPs anyway because they are hardly needed in Harper government

Do you think Peter Mackay should get $1500 luxury hotel rooms and $25000 per hour helicopter rides? Peter seems to be a bit of a liabilty right now.

What about the Billion dollars spent on the G8 and G20 in Ontario? Was that a good investment? Tony Clement thought so. I liked the fake lake. It is hard to find a real lake in Ontario.

Isn't it great to see fiscal Conservatives spend like fools. Especially western fiscal Reformers like Harper.

What do you think happened to Harper's Reform party roots?

Pass on your thoughts when you get a chance and Merry Chrsitmas. Your wishes are coming true...........

Chuck chuckup I want the books opened up at the CWB and let us all see what the hell was going on for the last 70 years or more.
Then maybe Fertilizer as way to much vs our prices.
Foreign ownership of our Canadian farmland. Real genius that is rent it instead of owning.
Canola seed prices come on its by the pound.
    Crop advisers the new BS.
    ETC ETC ETC>
Life is good but some things ps me off.
Have a great day as the sun is starting to rise in the east or maybe that's the Group of 8 burning all the documents in Winterpeg I'm asking to see.
Have a great day, I am.

One thing, they removed Voss and nielsen's names from the board within a couple of days of them resigning and put "vacant" in their spots.

Hopefully, they remove the crazy eight just as fast and put fired in the spot.

You'll see that the CWB changes don't affect yourself directly in any way. Your access to the USA and other countries will not be cut off. You will still market your grain through your own channels. The railways and middlemen will take their cut as they always have. Big business will continue to control more (as it has done in the past). You will continue to expand and change. Government programs will continue to be used and exploited.
And a whole new group of farmers will have the same options that you have "enjoyed" within the entitlements formerly provided to favored groups.
Thanks for throwing in the towel. I'll wait till this is really over before offering to clean up a 70 year old mess. It will be most interesting to have the previous method of CWB operation revealed.

That will provide lots of fodder for arguments.

Maybe there will be more discussion about the
business of farming and the management decisions
that go into being successfull/profitable versus the
politics of agricultural policy and its social
implications. I suspect the industry is ready for the
changes which will occur. The question is are
            individual managers.

I hope so charlie. But in the interim I'd like someone
to shut down that retarded steamroller site still being
moderated to manipulate the conversation. I think
sending an email to maureen_fitzhenry@cwb.ca the
                cwb may help.

Well actually chuckles, one issue that is crucial is the current regs surrounding varietal development for wheat and barley.

This is something that needs to be revisited. The stringent rules and excessive timelines are hindering us from taking advantage of the adavances other crops have made with respect to yield and disease resistence.

I was reading about new rust pathogens that have shown up in Minn and ND that current varieties that are otherwise resistent to rusts are suseptable to these new pathogens.

Varietal development and the rules and regs hindering that need a major overhaul.
