To bad the new CWB was not prepared for this new
reality. Wonder how much business they lost by not
            being ready?

Any bids from the famous CWB? Perhaps they are too busy reading into the laws etc.

Hmmm, Berthold new crop price of $7/bu for Sept. 2012 delivery. Sign up up
for $7.40 local Viterra. Doesn't look like there will be any run on the border or
the US turning away Canadian grain.

Can you explain this chuck, wilagro, etc... Have we not had an open market
long enough yet to bid the prices down?

                    Greg,

That would be close to what a normal CDN spread should be... close to in line with Canola spreads.

Great to see this in our own back yards... Stewy and Alan maintain a perfect record... once again... sink the ship and run for cover!

Many were forecasting that grain wouldn't
necessarily move south, prices would move north.

This is not to say that these price spreads will
stay, but it is to say " no surprises here".

                        jd,

With Condos and international connections... Viterra is a real market maker... IF they want market share.

I see in the CWB pricing that the CWHWS ($292) PPO's the CWB is putting in a premium over CWRS ($289).

Finally... after they get nearly all of the 2011 crop in... but still nice to see.

The 'adjustment price' add back is a perverted rip off to those who fixed the futures.
